
This is disgusting and not behavior we would expect from ANY player or team representing the state of Michigan and our athletics. After the game, it appears that a group of Michigan State players attacked WR Andrel Anthony or possibly Ja’den McBurrows in the stadium’s tunnel.
MSU had just lost to Michigan 29-7.

Head coach Jim Harbaugh called the attack an “assault” and said that the police and AD Warde Manuel would handle it.

Head coaches of both teams, Michigan State’s Mel Tucker and Michigan’s Jim Harbaugh, were seen trying to direct their players to the respective locker rooms. After a delayed but respectful handshake between both head coaches, they headed to their respective locker rooms, but the trash talk between players had already begun.
Michigan AD Warde Manuel says he will let law enforcement handle what happened in the tunnel. He calls the tunnel fight “unacceptable.”
