I am not going to lie, I’m generally not a person who roots for a player to get cut from a professional sports team.

BUT I AM ABSOLUTELY DONE WITH JAMAL AGNEW!!!

Following a very good rookie season in which he made the Pro Bowl, Detroit Lions CB and return man Jamal Agnew has been awful on special teams (the reason he is on the roster) and as a cornerback.

The straw that broke the camel’s back for me came in the second quarter of the Lions matchup at Ford Field against the Los Angeles Chargers when Agnew nearly cost the Lions BIG TIME.

After fielding a punt, Agnew had the ball ripped out of his hands by a Chargers’ defender, who also recovered the ball. LUCKILY for Agnew and the Lions, offsetting penalties were called on both teams, which forced a re-kick.

Agnew was replaced on the re-kick by WR Danny Amendola and he should be replaced permanently.

It’s time for Lions’ GM Bob Quinn to cut Jamal Agnew IMMEDIATELY!
