Some NBA players lobbied for the 2020-21 NBA season to tip-off after the start of the new year but according to reports, that will not happen.
Late Friday night, Shams Charania reported that the NBA Players Association has voted to tentatively approve the NBA’s proposal for the 2020-21 campaign starting on Dec. 22.
The regular season will not consist of 82 games like usual but instead, they will play a 72-game slate.
