Report: Red Wings will have more salary cap space for next season

The Detroit Red Wings and the rest of the National Hockey League got some good news on Wednesday.

According to NHL deputy commissioner Bill Daly, the NHL salary cap is expected to rise to between $84 – $88.2 million for the 2020-21 season.

For reference, all teams are currently operating under a cap of $81.5 million.
