On Monday, news broke that Fox Sports Detroit’s Rod Allen and Mario Impemba were involved in a physical altercation which resulted in both missing Detroit Tigers broadcast. At the time, there were few details other than the two went at it after a disagreement and they took separate flights home to avoid further incident.

According to WDIV, Allen attacked Impemba following Tuesday night’s game against the Chicago White Sox.
“Sources told Local 4 that Impemba left the broadcast booth at some point and Allen followed, assaulting Impemba from behind and choking him.
The altercation was because of a disagreement over a chair in the booth, sources told Local 4.”
There is no report yet about how Fox Sports Detroit will handle this situation.
