Tom Izzo shuts up Michigan State fans upset about Michigan ‘ducking’ the Spartans

Plenty had (and still have) their panties in a bunch about this

In case you have not yet heard (you have), Saturday’s game between Michigan State and Michigan was postponed due to the Wolverines not having the required number of scholarship players healthy to play (due to COVID-19).

Following the announcement, Spartan fans flooded social media to bash Michigan head coach Juwan Howard for ‘ducking’ Michigan State.

On Monday, Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo has weighed in on how Saturday’s postponement against Michigan was handled, effectively shutting up Spartan fans. He notes that he is “very happy” with his communication from Wolverines coach Juwan Howard and that he is fine with how Michigan handled things.

Here are Izzo’s comments from Monday.
