WATCH: Detroit Lions’ cheerleaders perform at New Kids on the Block concert at LCA

If you were a teeny bopper (like my wife) in the late 1980s and early 1990s, there is a decent chance you had a (sometimes unhealthy) obsession with the New Kids on the Block (NKOTB).

The American boy band, which originally featured the likes of Donnie Wahlberg, Jordan Knight, and Joey McIntyre was extremely successful from the late ’80s and early ’90s, before disbanding in 1994.

Well, as you probably know if you took the time to click this article, the NKOTB were back in Detroit on Tuesday night as they performed at Little Caesars Arena.

Now, if you are wondering why this story is appearing on Detroit Sports Nation, here is your answer.

Making an appearance at the NKOTB concert on Tuesday, along with the scorekeeper for my Little League Baseball team (you know who you are Heather B.), were the Detroit Lions‘ Cheerleaders.

Take a look at the video below with shows the Lions’ cheerleaders performing on stage during the concert.
