Unfortunately, for the Detroit Tigers and their many fans around the world, this season has been a huge disappointment. Even after Saturday nights come from behind win against the Minnesota Twins, the Tigers are 10 games under .500 and 10 full games behind the Cleveland Indians for first place in the American League Central.

Despite being extremely difficult to watch this season, there have been a few bright spots. One of those bright spots is outfielder Justin Upton. After a less than spectacular first season with the Tigers in 2016, Upton has certainly shined this season as he has clearly been the most valuable player on the team.

On Saturday, with the Tigers trailing the Twins 11-10 in the bottom of the ninth inning, Upton stepped up to the plate with a man on base. As you probably know by now, J-Up absolutely destroyed a 2-1 pitch for a 2-run walk-off home run as the Tigers defeated Minnesota 12-11.

In case you missed it, here is the original video of Upton’s epic game-winning blast.

But that video is not why you are here. You are here to see what the home run looks and feels like when Titanic music is included.

Enjoy!

Following Upton’s moonshot, he was doused with an ice bath while doing a post game interview with Trevor Thompson.

As noted in the tweet above, it is going to take more than ice to cool off the red hot Justin Upton.

So far, in 109 games with the Tigers this season, Upton is batting .281 with 22 home runs and 83 RBIs.

Could Nick Castellanos be making a position change in the near future?
