Brad Ausmus looks to ruin San Diego’s World Series odds

Former Detroit Tigers skipper Brad Ausmus was let go by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim earlier this week after just one season on the job.

And now, it appears as though he could be landing a new gig in short order.

According to Jon Heyman of MLB Network, Ausmus is expected to interview for the recently vacated San Diego Padres manager position.

Ausmus started his MLB career with the Padres from 1993-96, and was also a part of the organization from 2011-2013 before taking over as Tigers manager.
