One of the biggest Detroit Lions training camp battles was between Jake Rudock and Matt Cassel to see who would win the backup quarterback job.
According to Ian Rapoport, Lions GM Bob Quinn has made the decision to waive Rudock and to roll with Cassel to start the 2018 campaign.
