Darius Slay remembers time with Detroit Lions on custom-made Pro Bowl cleats [Photo]

Darius Slay spent his first seven NFL seasons with the Detroit Lions and though he now plays for the Philadelphia Eagles, he has not forgotten where he started.

On Sunday, Slay was reunited with his former Lions teammate, Quandre Diggs, as both were selected to play in the 2022 NFL Pro Bowl in Las Vegas. (Diggs did not play due to injury)

In the game, Slay wore some custom-made cleats in which he remembers “How it started” and “How it’s going.”

As you can see in the photo below, the “How it started” cleat features Slay and Diggs in Lions Color Rush uniforms while the “How it’s going” cleat features Slay on the Eagles and Diggs on the Seattle Seahawks.

Great stuff, Darius! Detroit certainly misses both you and Quandre!
