It has been a rough year for Detroit Lions DT Damon ‘Snacks' Harrison.
After signing a 1-year contract extension in the offseason, the hope was that Harrison would dominate in the run game as he had done for the previous handful of years.
But that was not the case as Harrison dealt with injuries and struggled on almost a weekly basis.

On Sunday, while the Lions were playing the Green Bay Packers, a report surfaced that Harrison was considering retirement following the 2019 season.
After the Lions lost to the Packers, Harrison was asked by the media if he was considering retirement and while responding, he got emotional.
“I got too much pride…so if I can't be the player that I'm used to being I think my teammates deserve better, my family deserves better…I never cheated the game a day in my life,” Harrison said.
