During the first half of Sunday’s game vs. the Washington Football Team, Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford tossed a pair of touchdown passes to give him a whopping 272 in his career.

But what is truly impressive is that with his 272 career TD passes, Stafford is now just one behind the great Joe Montana on the all-time list.
Montana currently sits at No. 17 on the list with 273 career TD passes.
Once Stafford ties Montana, which he may just do today, he will then be two TD passes behind Vinny Testaverde for No. 16 and 15 TD passes behind Johnny Unitas for the No. 15 place on the list.
Drew Brees currently holds the No. 1 overall spot with 564 career TD passes…and counting.
