Detroit Pistons favored to land former No. 1 overall pick Deandre Ayton

This would be a nice add for the Pistons

On Tuesday night, the Detroit Pistons will be looking to get lucky in the NBA Draft Lottery as they hope to land the No. 1 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft.

If the Pistons do land the No. 1 overall pick in tonight’s lottery, it will be the second-consecutive year that they have done so. In 2021, the Pistons used that No. 1 pick to select Cade Cunningham out of Oklahoma State.

Speaking of No. 1 overall picks, according to @Betonline_ag, the Pistons are the odds on favorite at 1/1 to land former No. 1 overall pick Dandre Ayton if he does not stick around with the Phoenix Suns.

Ayton, who was the No. 1 overall pick in 2018, averaged 17.2 points and 10.2 rebounds with the Suns.

Nation, would you like to see the Pistons bring in Ayton to join forces with Cade Cunningham?
