On Friday, the Detroit Tigers were in Minnesota to take on the Twins in a doubleheader and they pulled off something you do not see to often as they picked up a home loss while being nowhere near Comerica Park.
Due to a game in Detroit being postponed earlier in the season, the Tigers were actually the home team in Game 2 of Friday’s doubleheader against the Twins.

The Tigers used a solid pitching performance from Tyler Alexander (4 IP, 7 H, 1 ER, 4 K) and one RBI each from Miguel Cabrera and Jonathan Schoop as they held on to a 2-1 lead heading into the top of the seventh inning.
Unfortunately, the Tigers bullpen failed and the Twins ended up winning the game 3-2 in extra innings and sweeping the doubleheader.
The same two teams will meet again on Saturday.
