To say it has been a difficult year for the Stafford family would be a massive understatement.
This past spring, Kelly Stafford was diagnosed with a brain tumor that required extensive surgery. That surgery, which was supposed to last six hours ended up lasting 12 due to an unforeseen complication.
Fortunately, Stafford's doctor was able to work past the complication and Kelly has been recovering ever since.
Kelly has made it clear on social media how thankful she is for her doctors for removing her tumor and for her husband Matthew for being by her side through every step of the process.
On Monday, prior to the Detroit Lions matchup against the Green Bay Packers, ESPN aired a special feature video featuring the Stafford's.
