Here we go!!! Fourth Quarter!!!

After three-straight wins to close out the third quarter and to move to 7-5, the Lions will have set themselves up nicely to make a run at a division crown. Unfortunately, the quarter starts off on the road against the Vikings.

Week 14 – @Minnesota Vikings

When looking at the Lions schedule, this is a game that I almost automatically circle as a loss. The Vikings are going to be a solid team and it will be very difficult for the Lions to win their fourth game in a row. The Lions lose a hard-fought game an fall to 7-6.

Vikings 24 Lions 20

Week 15 – vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

After a tough loss to the Vikings on the road, the Lions will have to win out to win the NFC North. Luckily, they get what should be a terrible  Buccaneers team at Ford Field in Week 15. I would be surprised if the Lions do not roll in this one to improve their record to 8-6 with two games remaining.

Lions 34 Buccaneers 23

Week 16 – @Denver Broncos

A road game in Denver to keep the Lions NFC North title hopes alive! Though that may not be the ideal situation, the Lions are a better team than the Broncos and the cream will rise as Detroit escapes with a win to move to 9-6.

Lions 23 Broncos 20

Week 17 – vs. Green Bay Packers

I believe the Lions will have a 1-game lead over the Minnesota Vikings heading into the final week of the regular season. That means a Lions win or a Vikings loss (home against the Bears) will give Detroit division title for the first time in what seems like forever! The Vikings will take care of business at home against the Bears but the Lions will do exactly the same as they stomp Aaron Rodgers and the Packers to claim the NFC North title and a home playoff game.

Lions 30 Packers 20

As you can see, I have the Lions finishing with a 10-6 record and winning the NFC North in 2019. What do you think?
