Former Lions’ WR Golden Tate to return to Detroit in 2019

On Thursday, news broke that former Detroit Lions wide receiver Golden Tate is signing with the New York Giants.

Many Lions fans were hoping Tate, who was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles last season, would return to the Lions in 2019 as a free agent.

Well, Tate won’t be back with the Lions, but he will be back at Ford Field this coming season as the Giants will be one of the Lions home opponents in 2019.

I would expect for Tate to get quite the ovation at Ford Field as he was always a fan-favorite during his time with the Lions.
