Handful of Red Wings players and coaches placed in COVID-19 protocol

The Detroit Red Wings continue to be affected by COVID-19.

The team announced that forwards Givani Smith and Carter Rowney, goaltender Alex Nedeljkovoc, head coach Jeff Blashill and assistant Alex Tanguay have been placed on the team COVID-19 protocol list:
