On Wednesday night, the Detroit Red Wings will have their work cut out for them as they will be on the road to take on the undefeated Washington Capitals.
Earlier today, head coach Jeff Blashill announced that Thomas Greiss will be the starting goaltender for the Red Wings.
So far this season, Greiss is 2-1 with a 2.80 goals-against average and a .914 save percentage.
The puck is scheduled to drop at 7:00 p.m. for tonight’s game.
