Just over one year ago, the Detroit Lions traded Matthew Stafford to the Los Angeles Rams for Jared Goff and a trio of draft picks.
On that day, many predicted that Stafford would lead the Rams to the Super Bowl and that is exactly what he proceeded to do.
Though Stafford is with the Rams now, he is still appreciative of the fans he had over the years with the Detroit Lions.
On Monday, during his Super Bowl press conference, Stafford was asked to describe Lions fans and he had nothing but good things to say, calling them loyal, passionate, everything you want fans to be. Stafford added that Detroiters were great to his family and cared about them beyond football, but as people.
