Michigan State football sexual assault investigation may complete next week

On Thursday, news broke that three football players and one coach from the Michigan State football program have been suspended from all team activities and removed from on-campus housing pending the investigation of sexual assault allegations.

Names have not yet been released and will not be until the case is given to the Ingham County prosecutor and arrests are made. Those things could happen as early as next week according to a report from Kyle Austin of MLive.

From MLive:

Once the prosecutor’s office receives the report, it will review the findings of the investigation and determine whether or not to file charges.

Karen Truszkowski, an attorney for the accuser, said on Friday that she and her client have been working with both the criminal investigation and the school’s Title IX investigation, and that the MSU Police are in the process of wrapping up their investigation.

“My expectation is there will likely be some arrests,” Truszkowski.
