In losing Ndamukong Suh, the Detroit Lions lost the most dominant defensive player in the NFL sans J.J. Watt. With a loss like that, one might think that the drop off in terms of team defense would be drastic, but that’s not necessarily the case.
The Lions may not match the No. 2 overall defense that they held at the end of last year, but with the addition of Haloti Ngata and the continued development of young players like Darius Slay and Ziggy Ansah, expect Detroit to remain as one of the toughest defenses to face throughout the 2015-2016 season.
