BREAKING: Announcement expected today for Dylan Larkin to join Griffins

After earning a bronze at the World Championships this year, it’s expected that Dylan Larkin will be leaving the University of Michigan to turn pro, making him eligible for the Grand Rapids Griffins’ upcoming Western Conference Finals series with the Utica Comets.

Larkin was chosen 15th overall by the Detroit Red Wings in last year’s draft. The Waterford, MI native had a great 2014-15 season at Michigan, putting up 15 goals and 47 points in 35 games played. He’s expected to make a legitimate push this coming preseason for a roster spot with Detroit.
