Detroit Lions head coach Jim Caldwell must have read that he was ranked the worst head coach in the NFL when he woke up this morning because he seemed to be in a sour mood.
Caldwell, in a scheduled press conference Friday morning, seemed very agitated by the line of questioning regarding the regression of running back Joique Bell‘s ankle injury.
When asked if a particular incident had happened causing Bell to miss portions of practice this week while earlier being a “full participant,” Caldwell coldly snapped, “check the report.”
When pressed to elaborate, Caldwell stated, “it’s none of your business.”
The press conference proceeded to go on without incident until another reporter asked about Bell’s ankle injury.
“You guys don’t listen to each other, do you?” asked Caldwell.
“Check the report,” he again added.
Obviously, something happened to Bell this week, but Caldwell is in no mood to share.
The Lions injury report currently has Bell listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Vikings.
