Earlier this week, Detroit Lions RB D'Andre Swift told reporters that he was ‘pushing towards playing' in Week 7 against the Dallas Cowboys.
Swift, who has missed the last two games with a sprained shoulder, is hoping to make his return and the Lions are hoping to have him.
“I’m pushing towards that,” Swift said Wednesday. “Like I said, taking it day by day.”

On Friday, Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell spoke to reporters, and he said a decision would be made regarding D'Andre Swift's Week 7 status following today's practice.
Swift was limited in practice on both Wednesday and Thursday, so it will be very interesting to see what his status is when the Lions release their final injury report of the week later this afternoon.
