Unfortunately, the Detroit Lions came up just short of earning a berth in the 2022 NFL Playoffs. On the bright side, the Lions did win eight of their final ten games to finish with a 9-8 record on the season. Where will the Detroit Lions 2023 NFL Draft picks be?
With the draft season officially upon us (yes, the draft season starts as soon as a team is eliminated from playoff contention), let’s take a look at where the Lions will be selecting in the 2023 NFL Draft.
As you can see below, the Lions have a total of eight picks in the upcoming draft, including four of the top 59 selections.

- Round 1, No. 18 overall
- Round 2, No. 48 overall
- Round 2, No. 59 overall (via Minnesota Vikings)
- Round 3, No. 81 overall
- Round 5, No. 149 overall
- Round 6, No. 169 overall (via Denver Broncos)
- Round 6, No. 180 overall
When will the 2023 NFL Draft take place?
The 88th annual NFL Draft will be held on April 27-29, 2023 in the plaza outside of Union Station in Kansas City Missouri.
