Of course, the Detroit Thanksgiving parade and Turkey Trot will also be happening; the parade begins 8:45 AM on Woodward Avenue near Kirby Street and ends on Woodward Avenue near Congress Street.

Additionally, the Turkey Trot 10K starts at 7:30 AM, followed by the Turkey Trot 5K at 8:30 AM. Gates will open at Ford Field at 10:30 AM with kickoff being scheduled for 12:30 PM EST.

Of course, this could all easily be avoided by demanding real change by staying home for the game, but to each their own.
