The Detroit Lions signed their second-round pick, Ameer Abdullah out of the University of Nebraska, to a four-year contract. The Lions now have signed every draft pick except for first-round pick Laken Tomlinson.

Abdullah is expected to play a major role with the team, whether he’s splitting time with Joique Bell at running back or if he is returning kicks.
Abdullah rushed for over 4,500 yards and 39 TDs in his four years as a Cornhusker. The Lions have high expectations for the rookie running back as do the fans of Detroit. If he comes anywhere near putting up numbers like he did at Nebraska, we are in for a treat.
