This is a turn of events. For the second day in a row, DT Nick Fairley has practiced with the Detroit Lions and it seems there is a small chance he may play this Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys, contrary to previous reports earlier this week.

Every other tweet from the media seems to suggest either outcome, yes he will play, no he won’t – we likely won’t know for sure until the final Sunday injury report is released.
“Defensive coordinator Teryl Austin said the Lions would consider playing Fairley, even if he could only play five to seven snaps.
“He’s in a practice process to play protocol,” coach Jim Caldwell said. “See if he meets it.”
But coaches have warned Fairley is not in-game shape yet, and even the team’s website has ruled him out against Dallas.” – mlive

Rookie Travis Swanson is expected to start at right guard for Warford, while C.J. Mosley will remain in the starting lineup at defensive tackle for Fairley.
