On Saturday evening, the Detroit Lions released a thread of tweets showing photos of some of the personalized decal some of their players will be wearing on their helmets to bring awareness to social justice in America.
Following that thread of tweets, the Lions released an important statement explaining how the organization “supports everyone’s right to stand, kneel, or remain in the locker room while the national anthem is played prior to Sunday’s game.
