The Lions made a move on Tuesday to bring in some depth for their secondary as they signed the former Rams cornerback Brandon McGee, as well as placing CB Keith Lewis on waivers.

McGee was originally drafted in the 5th round of the 2013 draft by St. Louis out of the University of Miami (FL), before being cut last season. After spending time with both the Rams and Giants practice squad, he signed a one-year future/reserve contract with Dallas in January. However, the Cowboys later released McGee after placing the corner on IR.
Lewis came to Detroit this off-season after stints with Tampa Bay and Kansas City. The former undrafted free agent out of Virginia-Lynchburg has yet to play in an NFL game.
