Last season Stephen Tulloch was celebrating a sack of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers during Week 3 when he tore his ACL, now he is celebrating the fact he’s healthy and ready to get back on the field.
Tulloch says he is ready to go and he cannot wait to help out his teammates.
“Man, it’s exciting. I’m excited about it. It’s a blessing to be able to bounce back the way that I have and to be able to feel as good as I feel to be able to get out there, run around and do my thing.”
Tulloch expects to begin participating in team activities beginning at the end of May and looks forward to a great season as a team.
“We’re going to have a good season. We have a lot of good players coming back, the system is the second year under their belt,” Tulloch said. “We have a great coaching staff. The chemistry is amazing in the locker room. We have everybody buying in. Have almost 100 percent attendance so far this offseason. Things are flowing so much better.
“We look good, man. It’s going to be a good year.”
Last season the Lions finished 11-5 and qualified for the playoffs without Tulloch, this year they will have him back and ready to roll.
I think it’s safe to say he will be cutting back on the sack celebrations moving forward.
