On Sunday, Detroit Lions rookie RB D’Andre Swift had an opportunity to do something special but he failed to get the job done.
With less than 10 seconds remaining in the game, Lions QB Matthew Stafford found Swift, who was wide open running towards the end zone. Unfortunately, Swift failed to catch the football, despite it hitting him in the hands.
On Wednesday, Stafford spoke to the media and one of the final questions for him was from none other than Carlos Monarrez of the Detroit Free Press. This may not shock you, but Monarrez actually asked Stafford if he would hesitate to throw to Swift again in a big moment.
Stafford’s response was perfect.
“Not at all. Throwing it to him 100 times out of 100. Trust that kid. He’ll make the play,” Stafford said.

That is how you answer an ignorant question.
