We had an amazing 2019-2020 NCAA college basketball season until it was taken away from us by COVID-19.

Because of the coronavirus, the NCAA announced on Friday that they were canceling the 2020 Men's Basketball Tournament, which means we will have to miss out on one of the most fun times of the year.
But instead of just sitting back and accepting that the NCAA Tournament will not take place, we decided to have a little bit of fun here at DSN by coming up with our own bracket, which will play out over the next handful of weeks until the Final Four is revealed and a National Champion is crowned.
This all begins with Selection Sunday, which is exactly what you are about to experience, without all of the commercial breaks.
So, sit back, relax, and enjoy Selection Sunday 2020 and make sure to follow along as we eventually crown the 2020 National Champion!
Welcome to Selection Sunday!
We will begin by revealing the overall No. 1 seed in this year's tournament.
The overall No. 1 seed for the 2020 NCAA Tournament is…
The Kansas Jayhawks!
Here are all four No. 1 seeds as we head into the brackets
Midwest – Kansas
East – Dayton
West – Gonzaga
South – Baylor
Now, let's take a look at the brackets, starting with the Midwest, where No. 1 seed Kansas will get things started against the No. 16 seed, Western Kentucky.
MIDWEST REGION
If chalk rules the day (unlikely), the Jayhawks would matchup against Creighton for a berth in the Final Four.
Now we move on to the East bracket where Dayton came out of nowhere to claim the No. 1 seed. The Flyers will face the winner of our first play-in game which will feature No. 16 Boston University vs. No. 16 Prairie View A&M.
EAST REGION
As you can see above, if Michigan can get by either Wichita State or Richmond, they will possibly get a rematch against Villanova, who defeated them in the 2018 National Title game. Looking at the bracket, this is a very nice draw for the Wolverines, who can beat any team in the nation when they bring their A-game.
Off to the West Region, where No. 1 Gonzaga will square off against the winner of No. 16 Robert Morris and No. 16 North Carolina Central.
WEST REGION
Michigan State, who earned a No. 3 seed after sharing the Big Ten Championship with Wisconsin and Maryland, will open up against No. 14 Belmont. If the Spartans advance, a rematch with Iowa could be in the cards.
And finally, the South Region, where Baylor secured the No. 1 seed. Baylor will take on No. 16 Sienna in the Round of 64.
SOUTH REGION
Will Baylor prove they were worthy of a No. 1 seed or will a team like No. 2 Florida State or No. 3 Kentucky make a run all the way to the Final Four?
The 2020 NCAA Tournament will tip-off on Tuesday and Wednesday night with four play-in games which will take place in Dayton, Ohio. Here are those matchups.
Tuesday:
No. 11 Stanford vs. No. 11 North Carolina State
No. 16 Boston University vs. No. 16 Prairie View A&M
Wednesday:
No. 12 Wichita State vs. No. 12 Richmond
No. 16 Robert Morris vs. No. 16 North Carolina Central
Until the games begin, we leave you with the full bracket! Who do you think will make the Final Four?
