As is no surprise, Uncle Urban shows up again. This time, he takes the form of one of the most consistently dominant programs in college football.

The Buckeyes have gone through an absurd amount of success under two of the game’s best coaches in Meyer and Jim Tressel. The power Ohio State has expressed is so great that even a scandal that forced Tressel out of a job couldn’t keep this program down. In 12 of the 16 years this century, the Buckeyes finished with double-digit wins, 11 of which were years they appeared in prominent postseason games (BCS or CFP games) as well, including four showings in the national championship game.

Since Urban Meyer began his tenure in 2012, the Buckeyes have lost just four games. Two of those four defeats came in conference place, both against Michigan State.

Their tradition of winning is painfully disgusting for fans of both the Wolverines and Spartans, but it must be recognized on this list.

The only drawback is the two back-to-back losses in the national title game. The standard they have set brings a certain expectation and the two schools ahead of the Buckeyes exemplify this in spades.
