It’s been a little bit of a world tour for Jason Maxiell since he left the Detroit Pistons in 2013. After bouncing in and out of the rotation for the Orlando Magic and Charlotte Hornets, Maxiell has since departed for the Chinese Basketball Association, where things like this happen:
Maxiell, averaging 19 points and 12 rebounds for the Tianjin Gold Lions, was the apparent victim of a cheap shot from Shandong center Wu Ke on Wednesday, resulting in an impromptu game of tag.
Maxiell gave chase until he could be wrapped up by a gaggle of players including former Kansas State star Michael Beasley.
