Game Notes:

The Tigers took the field today riding the momentum of their come from behind win, yesterday 6-5. Jordan Zimmermann continued his April magic, pitching six innings, surrendering one run, and striking out three. James McCann and Jose Iglesias both had monster home runs, which gave the Tigers a 2-1 lead; it was McCann’s second in two games. Iglesias finished with 2 RBI, and Ian Kinsler pitched in with an RBI of his own. Justin Wilson earned the save, shutting the door on the Red Sox in the ninth 1-2-3. Tomorrow the Tigers will look to lefty Daniel Norris to keep the first win streak of the season going.
