5 players who will have a breakout season for the Lions in 2015

In 2014, the Detroit Lions won 11 regular season games and advanced to the playoffs where they eventually lost to the Dallas Cowboys. Much of the team’s success can be credited to the defense which was led by All-Pro defensive tackle, Ndamukong Suh. Now that Suh has left town, the defensive line has a new look to it.

In addition, Lions general manager Martin Mayhew focused on improving the offensive line and the running game via the NFL draft. In the first-round the Lions drafted offensive guard Laken Tomlinson and in the second-round they selected running back Ameer Abdullah.

Can both of those players make an immediate impact for the Lions? If they can, Detroit fans can start making plans for the playoffs.

Here is a list of 5 players who will have breakout seasons for the Lions in 2015.
