Following Wednesday night’s extra-inning loss to the Seattle Mariners, the Detroit Tigers sent LHP Kyle Ryan back to AAA Toledo and recalled RHP Buck Farmer.
Following tonight's game, the Tigers optioned the contract of LHP Kyle Ryan to Triple A Toledo.

Manager Brad Ausmus said that Farmer will be available to pitch out of the bullpen if needed in today’s series finale against the Mariners.
