Is Mike Babcock Leaving The Red Wings?

on

DETROIT, Michigan –

According to TSN’s Darren Dreger, there is speculation that Detroit Red Wings head coach Mike Babcock could be on his way out of the Motor City. His potential job wouldn’t take him too far away, though. Dreger tweeted that Babcock could be the successor of University of Michigan coaching legend Red Berensen. The Wings head coach has reportedly said the reports are not true, and that he is happy coaching the Red Wings. Mike Babcock has 2 years remaining on his contract with the Red Wings.

I’m strangely comfortable with this. It seems the players haven’t been too enamoured with him lately.

I don’t believe it. However, depending on what happens on Saturday will determine how hot his seat will be going into next season.

I doubt that this will happen anytime soon… but as long as Babcock is here, there are a lot of players that will not play for him

“Hope it’s true…. no one wants to play for this guy.” I didn’t know John Francis Bretz II has the inside scoop on the NHL locker rooms.
