Jurgen Klinsmann’s reign as the manager of the United States Men’s National Soccer team is over. Klinsmann in recent weeks had been maligned for the USMNT’s less than stellar performance to start World Cup qualifiers for the 2018 World Cup. Klinsmann was succeeded by former USMNT lead man Bruce Arena for a second term to run Team America.
After his departure, Klinsmann took to his Facebook page to post a video thanking America and it’s fans for their time and support.
Now the United States moves on with Arena for the second time, still trying to attempt to qualify for the World Cup.
Big THANK YOU to everyone for a tremendous 5 1/2 years coaching the US National Team! It's been an unforgettable experience and honor! Best of luck to the team on the road to Russia!
