When the Lions fired Joe Lombardi a week ago, it was almost a slap in the face to Lions fans. Sure Lombardi had to go, the offense had been awful and there were no signs of improvement, but what about the rest of the coaching staff? Does the Lions organization really think we are stupid?

It’s time to move on from Jim Caldwell and the rest of the coaching staff, including defensive coordinator Teryl Austin. At the midway point of the season, the Lions defense ranks dead last in the NFL with 30.6 points allowed per game.
