Former University of Michigan quarterback Devin Gardner has been claimed off of waivers by the Pittsburgh Steelers just days after his release from the New England Patriots.
Gardner is listed as a wide receiver on the Steeler’s roster, the same position which he was listed as at the NFL Draft earlier this month.
He went undrafted and then signed a contract with the Patriots. They must have noticed something they didnt like because they released him shortly after.
Gardner did play as a wide receiver back in 2012 with Michigan before switching back to quarterback after Denard Robinson graduated.
Does he have what it takes to make the Steeler’s roster? We will find out soon.
