Top 5 College Football Games to Watch in Week 11

SOUTH FLORIDA BULLS (7-2, 4-1 AAC) at MEMPHIS TIGERS (6-3, 3-2 AAC)

Memphissouth-floridaWHERE: Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium – Memphis, TN

KICKOFF: 7 p.m. ET on ESPNU

LINE: USF -4

OVER/UNDER: 74

That 74 in the over/under row is definitely not a typo, expect plenty of scoring in this American showdown. South Florida and Memphis boast two of the top three scoring offenses in the conference, with the USF Bulls sitting atop that category averaging better than 43 points per game. A big reason for their success this season has been thanks in part to junior dual-threat quarterback Quinton Flowers, who has totaled more than 2,800 yards this season (1,941 pass, 921 rush). He’s also responsible for 27 of the team’s 51 touchdowns this season.

Memphis meanwhile is fighting to continue finishing strong, after earning bowl eligibility last weekend over Southern Methodist. Losses to division foes Navy and Tulsa have all but diminished their chances of a division crown and chance at a conference title, but they will no question be looking to close out 2016 on a high note after both quarterback Paxton Lynch and former head coach Justin Fuente left the program. Nine or ten wins seems like a long shot at this point, but it’s another adequate season of Memphis football.

The Tigers own a 5-3 edge in the all-time series against the Bulls. They’ve met just three times as conference foes and Memphis has come out on top in all three games, holding USF to 20 points or fewer.
