Ryan is a Farmington native who enjoys all things basketball, particularly when it involves the Detroit Pistons. He spends much of his free time combing through NBA archives and curating footage of meaningless late-90's regular season performances for mass consumption.

The Memphis Grizzlies basketball roster got into the Christmas spirit a little early this year. After Brandon, their Team Personnel Intern, recently had his car stolen, the players pooled some cash together to hook him up with a new ride.

On his Instagram, Grizzlies guard Courtney Lee posted a short video alongside a message that read, “Good start to today, Brandon 1 of our team assistants car was stolen not to long ago so as a team we all donated a little something to make his Christmas special.”

No word on Brandon’s insurance situation with his old car, but a player-motivated move like this is something we can always get behind.
