After missing his second consecutive skate this morning, Brad Richards will not be in the lineup when the Detroit Red Wings take on the Calgary Flames tonight. This has forced Jeff Blashill to change his lines up a bit.
The most significant change to the lines is Dylan Larkin being moved into the middle between Tomas Tatar and Teemu Pulkkinen. Gustav Nyquist will play with Henrik Zetterberg and Justin Abdelkader.
Richards is day to day with a back issue, Blashill said.

New lines:
Abdelkader-Zetterberg-Nyquist
Tatar-Larkin-Pulkkinen
Helm-Sheahan-Glendening

Along with the changes to the forward lines, Blashill has decided to alter the defense pairings. Jonathan Ericsson will be moved out of the top 4, and Brendan Smith will replace Jakub Kindl in the lineup. He has also re-united the best pairing (Kyle Quincey and Danny DeKeyser) from last year.
New defense pairs:
Kronwall-Green
Quincey-DeKeyser
Smith-Ericsson
Looks like Kindl will be scratched.— Ansar Khan (@AnsarKhanMLive) October 23, 2015
