An already thin Detroit Tigers pitching staff is about to get even thinner with Daniel Norris expected to be placed on the 15-day disabled list.
Norris strained his oblique in last night’s 15-8 victory over the Chicago Cubs. Before he exited the game, Norris blasted a two run home run in his first career at-bat.
There is no word on who will replace Norris in the starting rotation, but Michael Fulmer is a name that is being thrown around. Kyle Ryan or Buck Farmer will also be leading candidates to fill in for the injured Norris.
Norris on the DL
Greene on the AAA DL
Farmer/Ryan again the most likely to start in Norris' spot, I'd assume. Don't think Lobstein's ready— Matthew B. Mowery (@matthewbmowery) August 20, 2015
