According to a report from CNN, Oscar-winning actor Gene Hackman has passed away at the age of 95, with his wife, Betsy Arakawa, also found dead at their home in Santa Fe, New Mexico, the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to CNN.

Deputies responded to a welfare check request at the couple’s residence around 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, where they discovered Hackman, Arakawa, and their dog deceased. The cause of death has not been confirmed, though authorities believe foul play is not involved.
